The Kew Collection by Ivo Prints in Homes and Antiques
We were all very excited to see our latest design 'Dutch Florile' on the front cover of Homes and Antiques April edition, I even spotted a copy in a magazine store in Hong Kong!
' Dutch Florile ' is our latest addition to the collection and is available as hand silkscreen printed linens and wide width non-woven wallpapers.
The design story is based upon reference from the Library, Art and Archives at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and features plates 3 & 4 from Emanuel Sweerts Florilegium published in 1612.
Emanuel Sweerts was a Dutch florist working in the employ of Emperor Rudolf II and his 'Florilegium' served as a sales catalogue for clients to choose plants to purchase. Dutch Florile is intended to celebrate the timeless quality and content of Sweerts Florilegium and to produce authentic and accessible textiles and home furnishings for contemporary living.
